Natural Disasters

Natural disasters are extreme, sudden events caused by environmental factors that result in significant damage, destruction, and disruption to communities and ecosystems. These events can include a range of phenomena such as earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, and droughts. Natural disasters can occur with little or no warning, often leading to loss of life, injury, and considerable economic impact. They may be influenced by both natural processes and human activities, and their intensity and frequency can be affected by climate change and urbanization. Natural disasters often require emergency response efforts and can lead to long-term recovery challenges for affected regions.
