Manga

Manga refers to a style of Japanese comic books and graphic novels. These works are typically characterized by their distinctive art styles and often feature various genres, including action, romance, horror, and fantasy. Manga is usually serialized in magazines or published as individual volumes known as tankōbon. The stories are usually presented in black-and-white illustrations, although some manga is produced in color.

Manga is distinct in its reading format, as it is traditionally read from right to left, which is the opposite of Western comics. It has gained worldwide popularity and has been influential in shaping global pop culture, inspiring film adaptations, anime (animated adaptations of manga), and other forms of media. The appeal of manga lies in its diverse storytelling and character development, attracting a broad audience across different age groups and demographics.
